Implant retained dentures are dentures anchored to dental implants placed in the jaw, making them more secure and stable than traditional dentures that simply rest on the gums. This means no slipping, improved chewing, and greater comfort.
The number of implants depends on your case, but usually 2–4 implants are enough to support a removable overdenture, while 4–6 may be needed for a permanently fixed denture.
