All-on-4 implants replace a full arch of missing teeth using four implants that securely hold a fixed bridge. The implants are placed at strategic angles for maximum support, allowing new teeth to be fitted the same day.
With good care and oral hygiene, All-on-4 implants can last for decades. The prosthetic bridge may need replacing after 10–15 years, but the implants themselves are designed to be a long-term solution.
Yes, once your implants have healed, you’ll be able to eat a wide variety of foods again - including those that can be difficult with dentures. Immediately after fitting, we may recommend a softer diet while your implants integrate.
All-on-4 dental implants are not available on the NHS as they are considered an advanced private treatment. At Church View Dental in Upminster, we provide All-on-4 with flexible finance options to make treatment more accessible.
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you won’t feel pain during treatment. We also offer sedation dentistry for nervous patients. Some mild swelling or soreness is normal afterwards, but this usually settles within a few days.
While the All-on-4 treatment is the most common same-day teeth option, we also offer All-on-5 and All-on-6 dental implants where clinically appropriate. These treatments use five or six implants instead of four, providing additional strength and support for patients who need it.
